Santo Antao Walking:
Mixed Activity

The Exciting 6-Day Combined Walking & Boat Tour proudly presents to you a dynamic circuit that will lead you into to remote locations in Santo Antao. You will experience among the island's most iconic places, see and photograph stunning landscapes shaped due to its volcanic nature, the ancient history, but also experienced what true Capverdien hospitality means. The first places along our route are the popular canyons and valleys of the north coast, Fontaínhas village (small village elected, for the second time, by the prestigious National Geographic magazine the 2nd place with the best view in the world, in a list that includes the 10 most breathtaking landscapes on the planet). Next, we will head to the south coast, towards the fishing village Tarrafal, visiting a breathtaking lunar landscape along the way carved out by harsh weather conditions over thousands of years, just like the rest of the landscape to cross to get there. Located on the seafront, the village boasts the best beach on the island, a perfect place for relax, swimming, snorkelling, fishing and trekking. The walk to Monte Trigo village passes through small lava fields and only takes 3 hours, but it's worth it. And the views... the most beautiful views, you will set eyes on the deep blue sea below! This tour include return in a traditional fishing boat. The trip itself is not very long, about 40-45 minutes, but it is long enough to capture the fishermen's skill, to admire the imposing Topo de Coroa volcano from the sea (1979 mts), the small coastal beaches and, on a lucky day, the chance to see dolphins and marine turtles.
