Hiking tour San Vicente and Santo Antao

I booked my itinerary direct with Alcinda via email from the UK. it encompassed all the accommodation, transfers. a good number of meals plus all the days pick ups and hiking with guide. I had my own personalised itinerary and was treated to my own personal guide and individual transport every day. Everything worked out to perfection and the organisation was superb. Arranging things direct with Alcinda and meeting up with her in Ponta do Sol proved extremely worthwhile. My guide for the 5 days hiking- Kevin- was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable- making the days all the more enjoyable.
So i would wholeheartedly recommend anyone intending to consider a walking/hiking holiday/tour in cape verde, whether as an individual or a small group, to make contact and i am sure you will be delighted with the arrangements made for you.

What a fantastic adventure!
We compliment you on your organisational skills that ensured the whole trip went smoothly from start to finish and your ability to re arrange our itinerary at short notice to allow us more time on Santo Antão. The walking was spectacular with our guide Kevin who was a joy to be with and gave us good information on the way of life on the island. Each walk is special and we could not choose our favourite but a real treat is the transfer by fishing boat from Tarrafal. We expected the accommodation to be basic and therefore we have no complaints in this and after all this allowed us to get a real feel for the island away from the sanitised tourist places you could choose.
So to sum up
If your looking for a walking holiday with a more traditional feel then this is the one to choose and Alcinda and her very helpful team will give you memorable days on this fabulous Island

My sister and I had a wonderful holiday that was very well-organized by Alcinda at Walking in  Cape Verde. She communicated with us well about everything before our arrival. We were very happy with the itinerary, services, accommodation, and all else. They accommodated my request for vegan meals, which were delicious! Our guide, Silverio, was very friendly and enthusiastic every step of our adventure. He welcomed us into people’s homes along the way and made our experience so much better than if we had walked on our own. Thanks for organizing the four amazing hikes around different parts of Santo Antao, which our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed - and nice clean places to sleep, good food in the hotel or on the road, and knowledgeable tour guides that went the extra mile to add local flavour. And also for arranging everything on our 8-day visit - from when we got off the plane in Sao Vicente to when we flew back, and fitting to our schedule. We were always in good hands and met on time with a smile, what more can you ask for? We booked a 3 day hiking tour in Santo Antao. The organization and transfer from our hotel was very easy and quick and our tour guide welcomed us directly on the ferry terminal. We really enjoyed the personal atmosphere with Alcinda and her team, the fresh and local food and the accommodation, which was very clean and in a good location.

making a review of my trip to Cabo Verde, the daytrip to Santo Antao stays in very good memory. Starting and ending with ferry transfer from Mindelo. The incredible view from Cova viewpoint to the sea, and the whole trip passing a nice scenery to Punta do Sol, with a good lunch was very enjoyable.
This was a good day with good service.

What a great 4 days we have had with you.
First of all the tracking with Chena was superb. Is was heavy bud great at the same time. 3 totally different tracks which give a perfect experience of this island.
Thanks a lot for the service you give. Everything was top. The rooms were super clean, the breakfast was top and the dinner at Fatima was also very nice.
Thank you again for the wonderful days and we will book in the future again with you when we go tracking in Cape Verde.
